Camping Villa al Mare, innovation for the outdoors
Through this project, Camping Villa al Mare aims to adapt its facilities to new target customer segments and evolving tourist demand, with measures designed to improve existing services, create new ones, attract new categories of customers, and extend the season, all in line with environmental sustainability requirements. The main works carried out were: construction of a new reception area and supermarket using green building techniques and a photovoltaic system; creation of a short-stay parking area (check-in and check-out); construction of an underground car park equipped with a new lift accessible to people with disabilities; construction of a rainwater collection basin to save water used for irrigation.
Digital innovations have also been introduced, such as the installation of totems allowing customers to check in and out independently, without having to wait their turn at reception.
Finally, as part of a process of redevelopment aimed at controlling the impact of its activities and increasing sustainability, the property will follow the process to obtain Ecolabel certification.
